INTRO:  The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, with a mind, will, and emotions. He is included in the Trinity, which is made up of 3 distinct persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible also declares that the Holy Spirit is God and reveals to us His human-like characteristics. In this sermon we’ll look at some of those characteristics so that we might have a much better understanding of who He is, and hopefully increase our desire to become closer in our relationship with Him.

CONCLUSION:  I am so grateful for how active the Holy Spirit is in our lives as believers in Christ. We couldn’t live the Christian life without Him! However, the Holy Spirit won't do all the work for us. We're still responsible to do our part - consistently reading the Bible, praying, and asking Him to show us the truth and teach us how to live. May you get to know, love, and understand Him in an even greater way!
